In order to further promote industry university research cooperation with scientific research institutions, improve the mechanism of scientific and technological innovation and talent development cooperation, on February 26th, Jingyuan Environmental Protection and the School of Water Resources and Environment of Chang'an University (Double First Class, 211 Project, 985 Platform) held an industry university research cooperation exchange meeting in the conference room on the third floor of the Yanta Campus of Chang'an University. Qiao Gang, Marketing Director of Jingyuan Environmental Protection Xi'an Branch, Xie Wei, Technical Director, Liu Yanping, Technical Manager, Wang Yafeng, Deputy Chief Engineer, Zhuo Yufei, Head of Water Conservation and Comprehensive Wastewater Treatment, Bai Bo, Dean of the School of Water Resources and Environment at Chang'an University, Ma Mingfang, Deputy Secretary and Vice Dean, Wang Yan, Deputy Secretary, Zheng Rui, Director of the College Office, Huang Wenfeng, Director of the Department of Groundwater Science and Engineering, and Yang Yinke, Director of the Department of Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering Director of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Wang Wei, and Director of the Department of Environmental Engineering, Guo Jifeng, and others attended the exchange and discussion. The meeting was chaired by Dean Bai Bo of the School of Water Environment at Chang'an University.

Bai Bo warmly welcomed the visit of Jingyuan Environmental Protection and introduced the development history, scientific research, talent cultivation, exchange and cooperation of Chang'an University and Water Environment College to the attendees. He stated that this meeting is the starting point of cooperation between the two sides. The Water Environment College is willing to deepen cooperation with Jingyuan Environmental Protection in industry, academia, and research, work together to achieve mutual benefit and win-win development, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the national ecological and environmental protection cause.

Qiao Gang briefly introduced the basic situation of Jingyuan Environmental Protection from the aspects of company overview, development history, technology and product research and development, engineering cases, and future development direction. Wang Yafeng, Deputy Chief Engineer of Jingyuan Environmental Protection Xi'an Branch, and Zhuo Yufei, Head of Water Conservation and Comprehensive Wastewater Treatment, respectively introduced the company's key technology research and development, equipment integration, and application cases from their own technologies such as electrocoagulation, magnetic coagulation, zero discharge of steel enterprise wastewater, and zero discharge of desulfurization wastewater from thermal power plants.

Ma Mingfang and Wang Yan exchanged ideas with Jingyuan Environmental Protection from various aspects such as scientific research cooperation forms, undergraduate internship practice bases, student joint training, and the employment situation and fields of graduates. The heads of each department in the college gave brief introductions on their respective scientific research, as well as the main directions and forms of social services.

At the meeting, both parties had in-depth exchanges on possible cooperation content, channels, and forms, taking into account the business scope of Jingyuan Environmental Protection and the scientific research advantages of the college. This exchange has enhanced the understanding between enterprises and colleges, and played a positive role in promoting industry university research cooperation.
