Innovation drives the deep development of the industrial chain | The preparatory meeting for the Nantong Low Carbon and Environmental Protection Industry Collaborative Innovation Alliance was successfully held

On April 20th, the preparatory meeting for the Nantong Low Carbon Environmental Protection Industry Collaborative Innovation Alliance was held at Jiangsu Jingyuan Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. Sun Qingshan, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Nantong Science and Technology Bureau, attended the meeting and provided guidance on work. Science and technology management departments of various counties (cities) and more than 60 low-carbon and environmental protection enterprises were invited to participate in the meeting to jointly plan for industrial collaborative innovation.

The meeting was first chaired by Director Fu Jiang of the Nantong Science and Technology Bureau. He elaborated on the policies of the innovation consortium from the perspectives of the background, construction significance, and implementation requirements of the industrial collaborative innovation consortium, and put forward specific work suggestions for the next step of the consortium project formation and actual operation.

Deputy Director Sun Qingshan emphasized the requirements for promoting the construction of innovation consortia at the national level, summarized the past experience of Nantong City in promoting innovation consortia work, and made specific work arrangements for the subsequent operation of innovation consortia. He stated that the Nantong Science and Technology Bureau will fully support the creation and operation of the Nantong Low Carbon Environmental Protection Industry Collaborative Innovation Alliance, and has high expectations for the alliance to effectively support the high-quality development of Nantong's low-carbon environmental protection industry.

Finally, as the leading unit of this innovation collaboration consortium, Zhou Yuliang, Deputy General Manager of Jingyuan Environmental Protection, reported on the basic situation of Jingyuan Environmental Protection enterprises and the construction plan for establishing the Nantong Low Carbon Environmental Protection Industry Innovation Consortium. He expressed the hope that through the linkage of upstream and downstream enterprises in the consortium, they can actively undertake the solution of industry bottleneck technologies, and quickly transform and implement innovative achievements through the industrial chain, empowering industrial development and making greater industrial contributions to the development of Nantong's "14th Five Year Plan" industry.
